AgTEC Student Spotlight: Noemí Hernández

In this short video feature, Noemí Hernández shares her story of discovery, growth, and opportunity through earning her Ag Systems Certificate at Reedley College. A TV commercial sparked her decision to seek new skills and expand her career opportunities. Through free, bilingual courses, she gained hands-on experience in the agriculture industry, from learning quality control to building her very own planter.

For Noemí, the program was more than education, it was empowerment. It’s a resource for adults seeking new paths and a living example for her daughters that learning never stops and opportunity can begin anywhere.

“It’s an example for my daughters, to whom I’ve always encouraged to study. And I think I’ve achieved that," said Hernández.
