Ag Bags are back at UC Merced for the fall semester! Join VISTA and the F3 Initiative on Tuesday, September 8, from 12:00–1:00 PM for our first Ag Bag gathering of the semester, focused on Sustainable Dairy Systems: Innovation for California’s Future.
This month, we’re bringing together research and industry perspectives to explore some of the opportunities and challenges shaping California agriculture—from water availability and forage production to circular food systems and resource efficiency.
We’re excited to welcome:
💧 Dr. Siddharth Kishore, University of California, Merced Postdoctoral Scholar
🌾 Jennifer Heguy, University of California Cooperative Extension Dairy Farm Advisor and County Director
🐄 Doreen (Dyt) Alamo, Industry Relations Specialist, California Dairies, Inc.
Ag Bags bring together researchers, students, growers, industry leaders, and community partners to exchange knowledge, explore current research and innovation, and build connections around the future of agriculture in the Central Valley.
