We are excited to share that the F3 Initiative was recently featured in an Agri-Pulse article titled, “F3 Initiative Tackles Farmworker Upskilling, Economic Development, and Agtech”, written by Chloe Lovejoy. The article explores F3’s progress in transforming agriculture across the Central Valley, highlighting initiatives like workforce development through AgTEC, ag-tech innovation led by F3 Innovate, and support for small farmers through F3 Local. The piece underscores how the $65.1 million Build Back Better grant has enabled F3 to roll out critical programs that address workforce gaps, expand research, and support local food systems.
We extend our gratitude to Chloe Lovejoy for covering F3’s work and to our partners who contributed to the story, including Ashley Swearengin from CVCF, Karen Aceves from AgTEC, and Leigh Bernacchi from UC Merced. This coverage amplifies the work we’re doing to ensure the Central Valley remains a hub for sustainable, inclusive agricultural innovation.
