On July 29, Lemoore College celebrated a meaningful milestone: the very first graduation ceremony for students completing the F3 AgTEC Ag Systems Certificate. In a joyful gathering with family, instructors, and college staff, four proud students—Frida, Cecilia, Consuelo, and Brandon—received their certificates, becoming the first cohort to complete the program at Lemoore.
The ceremony was more than just a recognition of academic achievement—it was a celebration of perseverance, growth, and opportunity. Three of the graduates completed their GED and ESL programs alongside the Ag Systems Certificate, demonstrating extraordinary dedication to their education. Frida also earned her forklift certification, while Cecilia is continuing her educational journey at Cuesta College to pursue her associate degree.
The Ag Systems Certificate is part of the broader AgTEC Workforce Initiative, designed to expand agricultural career pathways in the Central Valley. Students gain hands-on experience and job-ready skills across 14 core competencies, including workplace effectiveness, digital literacy, tool operation, and basic troubleshooting. The program is flexible, bilingual, and offered at no cost to participants—removing barriers for those ready to advance in the agriculture workforce.
We are so proud of these students and grateful to the dedicated instructors at Lemoore College who guided them along the way.
