The 37th Annual California Small Farm Conference is just around the corner, bringing together farmers, food advocates, and agricultural leaders for a week-long event filled with valuable workshops, networking opportunities, and in-person gatherings across the state. Organized by the Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) with support from F3 Local, this year’s conference, themed “Rooted in Place,” will focus on the essential connection between farmers, communities, and the land they steward. Attendees will have access to over 40 virtual workshops and a dozen regional gatherings, designed to empower small farmers with the knowledge, resources, and relationships they need to thrive.
For those in the San Joaquin Valley, the Regional Gathering at Merced College on Friday, February 28th is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow farmers, learn from industry experts, and explore new opportunities for growth. This event will feature a keynote address by Rizpah Bellard of Nova Farming, a passionate advocate for sustainable agriculture and farm education. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a series of engaging workshops tailored to the unique needs of Central Valley farmers.
