Ag Day at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo was a wonderful opportunity for F3 to connect with local families and share the many ways people can get involved in the future of agriculture, food, and innovation in the Central Valley.

With support from F3 Local and Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF), families visited a community booth featuring a giveaway of fresh produce from local farmers, including mandarins, carrots, and collard greens, along with a cooking demonstration using locally grown ingredients as part of the new Central to the Valley campaign. F3 Innovate also hosted a booth showcasing student ag technology and hands-on innovation happening right here in the Valley.

The event created a fun and interactive space for children, students, and families to meet local farmers, learn about the importance of our regional food system, and explore future opportunities in agriculture. Whether your passion is local food, farming, sustainability, or ag technology, there’s a place for you in F3.

Special thanks to interviewees Rasheed Hislop of CAFF and Mandy Breuer of F3 Innovate for sharing more about the impact of this work!
