Central Valley Watermelon Tasting

Sherman Produce Market is hosting its 2nd Annual Central Valley Watermelon Tasting on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 1062 Martin Ave, Fresno, CA 93706. This free, family-friendly event will bring the community together to celebrate the rich agricultural heritage of the Central Valley, featuring locally grown melons, exciting entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Following the success of last year’s event, which welcomed 500 attendees, this year’s festival promises an even bigger and more engaging experience. Guests will enjoy tasting many unique varieties of watermelon, participating in a watermelon-eating contest, and

enjoy live music and kid-friendly activities designed to showcase the importance of

agriculture and local farming.

our farmers, our traditions, and the joy of sharing locally grown produce with the community,” said Donald Sherman, farmer and owner of Sherman Produce Market.
