The new Central to the Valley campaign officially launched in Ivanhoe, California, bringing together farmers, growers, and community partners to celebrate a new regional brand focused on strengthening connections to Central Valley agriculture. This video captures the launch event and highlights how the campaign is working to elevate local farmers, increase demand for regionally grown food, and build a more resilient, community-centered food system.
At the heart of the campaign is a simple question: What is Central to the Valley? The answer is clear—everything we grow, and everyone we feed. Through storytelling, partnerships, and tools like the new online Buying Guide, the campaign makes it easier for communities to find and support local producers year-round.
The video features interviews with:
Laura Marquez, Kitchen Table Advisors
Vicky Garcia-Moya, Eco-Family Farms
Rasheed Hislop, Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF)
Community members, businesses, and farmers can learn more and get involved by visiting the new website (centraltothevalley.com) to explore the brand, partner with the campaign, and browse the interactive Buying Guide, a searchable map connecting consumers with local farmers and food businesses across the Central Valley.
